Work Package 3: Service Development

Work Package 3 "Service Development" aimed to define important areas where innovative services can expand the possibilities for regional businesses to create added value from territorial assets. There were already existing insruments on local and cross-border level in the regions along the Rhine that were used in the framework of implementing the activities within this work package.

A joint corporate design, including key visuals, for the Rhine Cycle Route comprising the different elements of design was developed by the project team and was used throughout the implementation of all DEMARRAGE activities. It was also provided to local and regional actors as a tool for their promotion activities on the transnational Rhine Cycle Route in order to ensure a joint market appearance.

Furthermore, the initiation of service and/or product development by small and medium enterprises, including transport services and bookable offers, were focused on. These activities were implemented in close collaboration with work package 4, especially the business panels and workshops were the platform to develop services and products.
